Last day of school. Presented the writing project to Jake's class. Did ok. At the office they sprung a birthday on me. Ann made a chocloate cake surrounded by pink carnations. Exquisite. In the night it came to me that I cannot manage a month at Lily Lake this year and less than that is just a visit and I don't want a visit. So we won't be going west this year. Less like making a decision than discovering a truth.
