came down in the morning
we got the last of the alfalfa
out of the feild and two loads

Couldn't get on track this morning. Weepy and sad, like a bug on its back, legs flailing. Gus and Jake worked on homework when they got up. I kept Tucker from the tv while they worked. Burnt the soft underside of my arm while cooking bacon. Argued with Gus about how to structure an introductory paragraph. Took all the boys to Uprise to buy Jake some shoes. Traffic dense and frequently disturbed by sirened police. My internal dread is reflected back to me by the world at large. Jake and Gus go out for sleepovers. In the evening, Tucker/Robert builds legos. I twiddle with some scripting. Watt researches Russian helmet straps. A happy ending.
