I took both soccer shifts, Jake in the cold drizzly morning, Tucker later in the chill sun. Took Jake shopping for a warm coat and snowpants for next week's fieldtrip. Spent the rest of the day packing and paying bills. Discovered that I am/can be separate from the grief that has been coursing through me. Felt myself pop out like a bubble.
