Tucker turned 7 today. And such a happy guy. The birthday- balloon-fairy came through. He'd been worried she wouldn't. The tooth-fairy's been so unreliable. He creaked up to my bedside about 7 and whispered, "She came mama. And she got the number exactly. Seven balloons. All around my head." Jake and Tucker had no school for teacher meetings, Gus was home sick and Watt and I took the day off. We ate sandwiches in bed watching Scooby-Doo on tv and Tucker declared it the best birthday ever.
