Jake's birthday. He is pleased with his "electricity experiment" kit and his legos. Jake and Tucker passed hours, heads together building legos. Tucker helped me make the cake, Jake pretending to wonder what we were doing that smelled so good. The hot water handle fell off in the tub, shooting hot water across the room. Hasn't done that in years. We had a spare widget, but the last time it got fixed by a plummer, he cemented the widget inside the handle, so it looks like we'll have to get a whole new set. Got it rigged with the new widget and pliers for now. In the evening we played Yahtzee and Jacob left us all in the dust.
