Thea woke me at 5:30. I took her out and caught the tail end of the meteor shower standing in the field behind the motel. Woke the boys to see. They'd never seen a falling star before. Drove up the mountain in and out of spats of sleet. Snow began just as we pulled up at the house. Boys all dug out their warm coats and gloves and ran out to play. Boys are staying in the new house, Watt and I in Paul's house. We're sharing it with a bushy-tailed pack rat or two.
